Volunteer
Volunteers work together by freely giving their time, skills and expertise to carry out pre-agreed roles. When volunteers join the CIC, our aim is to make their experience rewarding and fulfilling by offering the opportunity to gain relevant skills and where appropriate work experience and references.
Local volunteers work alongside our facilitator to prepare and present the workshops. Some trained and experienced volunteers also facilitate sessions. We welcome all who are interested in helping, in particular ex-offenders are welcomed as their lived experience and ability to relate to new participants can be especially helpful.
The CIC has policies in place to keep our volunteers safe and to give reassurance to the managers of these venues, as well as to funders, that everyone associated with the PEP will act in a professional manner while on their premises.
